DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon concert with The Red Barn Brass Quintet! The group was formed in 2020 by a group of dedicated brass players in the Lake Ann area during the early days of Covid. With rehearsals taking place outdoors, they found themselves practicing in a big local red barn—often accompanied by the occasional moo from the cows downstairs. The group plays an eclectic mix of music, ranging from classical to popular favorites. Members include Jimi Alpers and Ruth Leckrone on trumpet, Gwen Willson on French horn, Tim Willson on tuba, and Karen Hall on euphonium.\n
