Spring Break Staycation at St. Ambrose Cellars
Looking for a fun and exciting way to spend Spring Break? St. Ambrose Cellars has a week packed with hands-on activities for kids! Each day we’ll have a new adventure including learning disc golf, making stop-motion movies, crafting delicious pizzas, learning about reptiles, and having a blast on game day. Check out the schedule below and join us for a week of creativity, learning, and fun!

Monday, March 30 at 2pm-4pm – Game Day
Kick off Spring Break with a day full of fun and games! We’ll have a variety of board games available as well as video games on our massive 150” projector screen and a VR headset. Whether they’re strategizing over a game of Risk or teaming up to take down Bowser, kids are sure to have a blast!
Tuesday, March 31 at 12pm-2pm – Stop Motion Animation Workshop
Bring your imagination to life with stop-motion animation! Kids will learn how to create their own short movies using a smartphone, Legos, clay, and other fun materials. All they need to bring is a smartphone—everything else will be provided!
Wednesday, April 1 at 1pm-3pm – Intro to Disc Golf
Get ready to hit the course with our brewers and disc golf enthusiasts, Scott and Scotty! Kids will learn the basics of disc golf, including the rules, how to keep score, and expert tips and tricks to improve their game. No need to bring anything—discs will be provided!
Thursday, April 2 at 1pm-3pm – Make Your Own Pizza Day
Become a pizza chef for the day with our very own Chef Finn McLaren! Kids will roll out their own dough, add sauce, toppings, and cheese, then watch as Finn fires their masterpiece in our wood-fired oven. A delicious, hands-on experience they won’t want to miss! Make Your Own Pizza is 30 minutes per session and costs $10 per attendee. Click here to reserve your spot.
Friday, April 3 at 12pm-2pm and 2pm-4pm – Reptile Discovery Day with Nature Explorers
Meet Scaly the corn snake, Lizzie the leopard gecko, and Slimy the tiger salamander! Make a magnet craft about Michigan reptiles and amphibians while learning about herpetology.
